The workflow your best person cannot hand over, run as a managed queue. Intake, chasing, documents, a compliance gate on every send. You approve, it executes. From $5,000 to map and build, $1,000 a month to run.
Bring the process that eats your week. We’ll tell you what it would take to run it without you. No charge, no deck.
WE’VE WORKED WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU · THIS IS HOW IT IS NOW
Your best person is the integration layer between two systems.
Owners, partners and practice managers who have one process that only works because a particular person is in the room. Renewals, intake, lodgements, claims acknowledgements, month-end. It runs on their inbox and their memory. When they are away it stops, and when they leave it walks out with them.
Software gives your team another screen. The Engine Room gives them a queue that is already done. We map the process as it actually runs, codify the judgement calls, build the automation and then run it for you, with a human approval gate on anything that leaves the building. You get your person back. The process keeps going.
YOU WANT TO DO BETTER. YOU KNOW YOU CAN.
THEN WE WALK IN · WHAT WE BUILD
Four things, in this order.
A map, a build, a queue and a monthly receipt. Each earns the next. Nothing goes live until your team has approved it on real work.

THE RAILS
01 · THE MAP
The process mapped as it actually runs.
Every step, hand-off and exception, drawn from the people who do it. The rules that live in someone’s head, written down for the first time.
02 · THE BUILD
A working engine inside your systems, not beside them.
Documents read, data pulled, drafts written, chasers sent, the file updated. Built on your rules, in your tools. Fixed price, agreed up front.
03 · THE GATE
A compliance gate your team controls.
Nothing is sent, lodged or filed without a named person clicking approve. The gate is the product. It is why regulated firms can use this at all.
04 · THE RECEIPT
A monthly number, not a monthly invoice.
Items processed, hours returned, errors caught and what we changed. If the number stops justifying the fee, we tell you first.
WE HOLD YOUR HAND · HOW IT RUNS
Six weeks to live. Then it runs.
Weeks 1 and 2, we sit with the people who run the process and map it. Weeks 3 to 5, we build and test on real files with your team approving every output. Week 6, it goes live with the gate on.
From then on it runs daily. You get the queue in the morning, approve what needs you and get on with your day. Monthly we show the receipt and improve the engine. Cancel with 30 days’ notice and keep the workflow.
THE PROMISED LAND · THE RETURN, WORKED
Renewals in a mid-tier broking branch.
Drawn from a recorded discovery walkthrough in an Australian broking branch. Seven internal systems, fifteen to twenty insurer portals, no single client view. Renewals took 70 to 75 percent of a broker’s week across nine manual steps.
01 · THE MAP
Nine steps, seven systems, one person.
Renewal prep, insurer chasing, endorsement capture, certificates of currency and claims acknowledgement, all held together by one broker’s inbox.
02 · THE ENGINE
What we built.
A renewal pack assembled from the client file and insurer portals, a draft client email, a chaser sequence and a compliance gate that blocks any non-compliant send.
03 · THE GATE
What the broker still does.
Reviews the pack, edits the email and clicks approve. Judgement stays with the licensee. The typing does not.
04 · THE RESULT
The broker’s review, not the broker’s week.
Renewal prep moved from the better part of a week to a review. Claims are acknowledged within the hour instead of after 48 hours of silence.
05 · THE COST
Build and run.
A fixed build from $5,000 and a monthly run fee from $1,000, stated against the hours returned so the receipt is plain.
06 · THE CALL
Run it, or hand it back.
At month three we show the receipt. If it has not earned its fee, you keep the engine and we stop charging for the queue.
Figures from a discovery walkthrough, not a completed engagement.
YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF
You think you can do it yourself. You can’t. Not well, and not while running the firm.
You could buy the tools and wire them together on weekends. Most firms try. It works until the first exception, the first staff change or the first time nothing was logged for the licensee. The engine is the gate, the rules and the monthly receipt, not the software. You still own your data, your rules and the agreed right to run what we build. N+1 keeps its reusable code and may reuse generic components.
FAQS
FAQs
CHOOSING
Which process should go first?
The one that stops when a particular person is on leave. High volume, repetitive, with judgement calls that are never written down. If you cannot pick, the 20-minute call will.
YOUR TIME
What do you need from us?
The two or three people who run the process, a few hours each in the first fortnight, and read access to the systems it touches. Then about 20 minutes a day to clear the approval queue.
COMPLIANCE
Can a regulated firm use this?
Yes. That is who it is built for. Nothing leaves without a named approver, every action is logged and the gate rules are yours to set. We will walk your compliance lead through it before anything goes live.
COST
What does it cost and what is excluded?
From $5,000 inc GST to map and build, fixed and paid up front. From $1,000 a month to run, with the volume and support included stated in writing. Software licences and third-party integration fees are quoted separately before any build.
LEAVING
What if we want to stop?
30 days’ notice. You keep the mapped workflow, the rules and the agreed right to run what we built. No lock-in on the queue.
OUTPUT
Is this just automation with a nicer name?
No. Automation hands you a tool and leaves. This is a managed operation with a human gate and a monthly receipt. We are measured on the number, not the demo.
WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE
Let us have a look. What have you got to lose?
Which process would you hand over tomorrow? Message me and we’ll have a look. We were doing AI well before ChatGPT existed. We’ve seen it all. Worst case, you walk away fired up by what you can achieve and with a serious education in what is possible.
Or email hello@np1systems.com with one paragraph on the process.
First, it pays for itself.
Then, others pay for it.
