An AI sales engine finds the right accounts, researches each one, drafts a message in your voice and puts it in your drafts folder. A person reads it and sends it. Anything that sends for you gets your domain blacklisted. That is the whole model.
Updated 2 November 2026. Bring your best customer type and we’ll show you a researched draft for them. No charge, no deck.
WE’VE WORKED WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU · THIS IS HOW IT IS NOW
Who asks this question
Founders and principals of Australian firms with 5 to 30 people who win work in the room and lose it in the gaps. You have been pitched an AI SDR that promises 500 emails a day, you suspect that is how reputations end, and you want to know what the sensible version looks like.
Every tool that sends on your behalf is optimising for volume, and volume is what Australian spam law, inbox providers and your reputation punish. The useful version is narrower: one customer type, every account researched before a word is drafted, one message under 120 words, and a hard gate where your name only goes on words you have read.
YOU WANT TO DO BETTER. YOU KNOW YOU CAN.
THEN WE WALK IN · WHAT WE BUILD
What the engine does and what you do.
Four steps. Three belong to the engine. The fourth is yours and it does not move.
Accounts in. Research and a draft out. A person sends.

THE RAILS
01 · ENGINE · THE LANE
Defines one customer type precisely.
Industry, size, role and the trigger that says a firm is ready now. Narrow beats broad. Forty accounts a month with a trigger outperform four hundred without one.
02 · ENGINE · THE RESEARCH
Reads every account before drafting.
Website, filings, news, hiring, what the people have said publicly, and what your own firm already knows about them if a corporate brain is running.
03 · ENGINE · THE DRAFT
Writes one message to your voice rules.
Under 120 words, one specific observation, one ask. Dropped into your drafts folder with the research attached.
04 · HUMAN · THE SEND
You read it. You send it or bin it.
Every send is a click by a named person from their own mailbox. No sequences fire while you are on a plane. This is the compliance position and the reputation position in one step.
WE HOLD YOUR HAND · HOW IT RUNS
What a week looks like.
Monday to Friday the engine drops six to ten drafts a morning. You spend 15 to 20 minutes sending the right ones and deleting the rest. Friday you get the scorecard: sends, replies, meetings, by message.
The scorecard changes the lane or the message. It never changes the gate. If the drafts take longer than 20 minutes a day to clear, the drafts are wrong and the engine is tuned, not the person.
THE PROMISED LAND · THE RETURN, WORKED
One worked week.
An illustrative week, not a client engagement: a professional services firm targeting principals at 40 to 200 person firms in one industry, forty accounts, one trigger.
01 · SENDS
Twenty-five.
Five a day, each under 120 words, each with one specific observation about the account. Two drafts were edited before sending. Eight were deleted.
02 · REPLIES
Six.
Four were useful. Two were polite declines, which still count because a named person now knows who you are.
03 · MEETINGS
Two.
Both with the message that opened on a specific fact about the account. The generic variant booked none and was retired on Friday.
04 · TIME
Ninety minutes for the week.
Fifteen to twenty minutes a morning at the gate. No list building, no research, no drafting by the founder.
05 · COST
From $5,000 to set up, $1,000 a month to run.
On your own machine, your own lists, your own mailbox. Data provider subscriptions are extra and quoted up front.
06 · THE COMPARISON
An SDR in Australia costs more per meeting until you pass about 200 accounts a month.
Below that volume the engine is cheaper and more careful. Above it, hire the person and give them the engine.
Illustrative scenario, not a client engagement.
YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF
You think you can do it yourself. You can’t. Not well, and not while running the firm.
You could buy the tools and wire them together on weekends. Most firms try. It works until the first exception, the first staff change or the first time nothing was logged for the licensee. The engine is the gate, the rules and the monthly receipt, not the software. You still own your data, your rules and the agreed right to run what we build. N+1 keeps its reusable code and may reuse generic components.
FAQS
FAQs
SOUND
Will it sound like AI?
Not if the voice rules are written and the first and last line are yours. Human-sounding messages get roughly double the response of AI-sounding ones. Ninety seconds of editing is the difference.
COST
What does an AI SDR cost in Australia?
Vendor tools run from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month and most of them send for you. A managed engine like Sales Beast is from $5,000 to set up and $1,000 a month, and never sends. An entry-level SDR is $70,000 to $90,000 a year plus tools.
PEOPLE
Do I still need a salesperson?
You still need someone to take the meeting. What you no longer need is someone to build lists, research accounts and draft first messages. That is what the engine replaces.
DATA
What data does it use?
Public sources, a data provider you subscribe to, and your own firm’s records if a corporate brain is running. Nothing is scraped from places that prohibit it and nothing leaves your machine.
TIME
How long until the first meeting?
Drafts in week four. In the worked week above, the first meeting came in the first five sends. Three months is a fair test of a lane.
LAW
Is this compliant with the Spam Act?
Yes, because a person sends every message from their own mailbox with their name on it and an unsubscribe route. We set the engine up to that standard and will not build bulk sequences.
WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE
Let us have a look. What have you got to lose?
Who should be in your drafts folder tomorrow? Message me and we’ll have a look. We were doing AI well before ChatGPT existed. We’ve seen it all. Worst case, you walk away fired up by what you can achieve and with a serious education in what is possible.
Or email hello@np1systems.com with one paragraph on who you want to sell to.
First, it pays for itself.
