LANE · INSURANCE BROKING

OFFER TWO · THE ENTRY ENGAGEMENT

Renewals take 75 percent of a broker’s week. They should take a review.

Workflow Audit: the number before the software.

Workflow Audit: the number before the software.

A workflow layer over the seven systems and fifteen insurer portals your brokers juggle: renewals, claims acknowledgement, endorsements and certificates of currency, with a compliance gate on every send. Built for AR networks and mid-tier brokerages. From $5,000 to map and build, $1,000 a month to run.

Bring your renewal process. We’ll tell you where the week goes and what a gate would catch. No charge, no deck.

WORKFLOW AUDIT · $4,950 INC GST · TEN BUSINESS DAYS.

WE’VE WORKED WITH PEOPLE LIKE YOU · THIS IS HOW IT IS NOW

Every authorised representative you add brings risk onto your licence.

Network principals and mid-tier brokerage owners with real autonomy under their owner. You have fewer brokers writing more premium every year. Active intermediaries fell from 665 to 604 in twelve months while half-year premium passed $21 billion. The modern stack lost the single client view the retired one had, and headcount is the integration layer.

We equip the broker. US capital is replacing them.

Measure first. Build only what pays for itself.

Harper, Pace and WithCoverage have raised hundreds of millions to build AI-native brokerages that bypass you. Our bet is the opposite. The broker’s judgement is the asset. We take the typing, the chasing and the compliance risk off the desk and leave the relationship where it belongs.

YOU WANT TO DO BETTER. YOU KNOW YOU CAN.

THEN WE WALK IN · WHAT WE BUILD

Four workflows, in the order they pay back.

Each one is a queue your brokers approve, not a screen they learn. We start with the one that takes the most hours and carries the most licence risk.

Seven systems in. One renewal pack out. The broker reviews.

THE RAILS

01 · RENEWALS

The renewal pack assembled before the broker opens the file.

Client data, expiring terms, claims history and insurer portal quotes pulled into one pack with a draft client email. Nine manual steps become a review.

02 · CLAIMS

Acknowledged within the hour, not after 48 hours of silence.

Lodgement detected, client acknowledged, insurer chased, status visible. Claims cause 59 percent of code breaches. This is where the gate earns its keep.

03 · ENDORSEMENTS AND CERTIFICATES

Out of one person’s inbox and into the file.

Endorsements captured and recorded. Certificates of currency produced on request instead of chased by phone.

04 · THE COMPLIANCE GATE

Nothing non-compliant leaves the building.

Every send checked against your licence rules before a broker can click approve. A log the licensee can show a regulator.

WE HOLD YOUR HAND · HOW IT RUNS

Six weeks to live. One branch first.

Weeks 1 and 2, we sit in one branch and record how renewals actually run across your systems and portals. Weeks 3 to 5, we build and test on live files with brokers approving every output. Week 6, the gate goes on and the queue goes live.

From then on it runs daily. The network principal sees the compliance log, the broker sees the queue, the client gets the acknowledgement. Monthly we show the receipt and roll it to the next branch.

THE PROMISED LAND · THE RETURN, WORKED

Inside a corporate broking branch.

Drawn from a recorded discovery walkthrough in an Australian broking branch, de-identified. Seven internal systems, fifteen to twenty insurer portals, no single client view.

01 · THE MAP

Nine steps, seven systems, one broker.

Renewals consumed 70 to 75 percent of a broker’s week. Endorsements lived in one person’s inbox. Certificates were chased by phone.

02 · THE LEAK

Where the hours and the risk sat.

A 48-hour silence between claim lodgement and client acknowledgement. Enquiry to conversion roughly one in five, untracked. Offshore invoicing delays.

03 · THE GATE

What the licensee needed first.

Not speed. A log. Every send checked against the licence rules, blocked if non-compliant, visible to the principal.

04 · THE BUILD

Renewal pack, claims acknowledgement, endorsement capture.

Built as a layer over the existing systems, not a replacement for them. The rails stay. The layer does the work.

05 · THE RESULT

Renewals moved from the broker’s week to the broker’s review.

Claims acknowledged within the hour. Endorsements in the file. The principal with a compliance log for the first time.

06 · THE CALL

Prove it in one branch. Then license it across the network.

The workflow is the same in every branch. Once it holds, the network licenses it rather than rebuilding it.

Drawn from a discovery walkthrough, not a completed engagement.

YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF

You think you can do it yourself. You can’t. Not well, and not while running the firm.

You could buy the tools and wire them together on weekends. Most firms try. It works until the first exception, the first staff change or the first time nothing was logged for the licensee. The engine is the gate, the rules and the monthly receipt, not the software. You still own your data, your rules and the agreed right to run what we build. N+1 keeps its reusable code and may reuse generic components.

FAQS

FAQs

CHOOSING

Which branch should go first?

The one whose principal is most frustrated and most autonomous. We need someone who can say yes without asking Steadfast, AUB or Ardonagh.

SYSTEMS

Do we have to change our broking system?

No. INSIGHT, WinBEAT, Epic, they all stay. The layer sits above them and reads from the insurer portals your brokers already use. Rails versus layer. We build the layer.

COMPLIANCE

How does the gate work with our AFSL obligations?

Your compliance lead sets the rules. Every outbound item is checked against them and blocked if it fails. The log shows who approved what and when. We walk your compliance lead through it before go-live.

COST

What does it cost and what is excluded?

From $5,000 inc GST to map and build one workflow in one branch, fixed and paid up front. From $1,000 a month to run. Insurer API fees, where they exist, and third-party licences are quoted separately.

NETWORK

We are under a larger group. Can we still do this?

Often, yes. The first qualifying question on the call is how much autonomy you keep under your owner. If the answer is enough to buy a layer, we proceed. If not, we tell you so in 20 minutes.

OUTPUT

Is this another broking SaaS?

No. It is a managed workflow with a human gate and a monthly receipt, built on your rules and your systems. We are measured on hours returned and breaches caught, not on seats sold.

WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE

Let us have a look. What have you got to lose?

Which part of renewals still gets chased by hand? Message me and we’ll have a look. We were doing AI well before ChatGPT existed. We’ve seen it all. Worst case, you walk away fired up by what you can achieve and with a serious education in what is possible.
